Features

For sheathed thermocouples used across a wide range of environments, we have adopted a specialized sheath made from a highly corrosion-resistant nickel-based alloy.
This advanced design significantly reduces degradation caused by corrosion, delivering improved durability and an extended service life.

  • Superior corrosion resistance compared to HASTELLOY® X*
  • Maximum operating temperature: 800℃; suitable for use in high-temperature corrosive environments.
  • Drilled thermowells for thermometers are also available.

Specification

● Corrosion Resistance Test Results

Sheathed thermocouples (φ3.2 mm OD) made of SC1000M, HASTELLOY® X, NCF600, and SUS316 were immersed in a 12% boiling dilute hydrochloric acid solution and left for a specified period of time.

Corrosion Resistance Test
All materials except SC1000M completely dissolved*
NCF600 and SUS316 dissolved within 20 hours.

Typical Measurement Locations

  • Areas in semiconductor manufacturing processes where hydrofluoric acid, gases, or chemical solutions are used.
  • Chemical plants and other facilities handling highly corrosive fluids.
  • Environments subject to sulfuric acid dew point corrosion, such as flue gas desulfurization (FGD) systems.
